BAKING for SAT 22 OCT

Traditional white - THE loaf for toasting!

I’m baking SAT 22 Oct for orders to collect from my front door in CH2 4ER between 3pm and 6pm.  I’ll send directions if you haven’t been to my house before.

If you would like a free delivery or if you are willing to deliver without charging I will try to pair you up with a like-minded volunteer who lives near your address.  If possible, please reciprocate by being willing to return the favour.   In these cases, no money changes hands.  Customers pay me directly by BACS or cheque or in cash when they next see me.

Harry’s Cake - for lovers of nuts and stem ginger £16.00 per kg. Whole cakes cost between £7.00 and £9.00.  BBE 10/12/22. Half-cakes are not available this week.

Banana Cake – plain or topped with walnuts .   BBE 3/11/22.  Usually £5.00 but on offer this week for £3.50

Lemon Cake – £5.00.  BBE 11/11/22

Bara-brith – £5.00 BBE 16/11/22

SAVOURIES

Savoury Brioche Tart

Savoury Brioche Tart with tomatoes and basil.   Whole rectangular tart – £13 (approx 30 x 20 x 2.5 cm).  Half rectangular tart £7. Quarter rectangular tart £3.60.  One quarter is sufficient for two portions. Will keep in your fridge until Wednesday evening and can be frozen for up to 6 months. Eat cold or re-heat. Suitable for veggies but not vegans.

Veggie Nuts and Barley Roast

Nut roast with chestnuts, cashews, mushrooms, pearl barley, cranberries and more.  £6 each or £11 for 2.  Serves 2. Will keep in your fridge until Thursday evening or freeze for up to 6 months.   Suitable for veggies but not vegans.
